Avatar of the gothic demon Valak, this disturbing nun first appeared in the episode "The Conjuring 2 (2016)" of the homonymous film saga. This gothic demon was so terrifying that an entire movie called The Nun (2018) was dedicated to her!
The film revealed the obscure origins of this creature held prisoner in the depths of a Romanian chapel of the Middle Ages, The demon Valak had been locked up there for several centuries by the Knights Templar. The bombings of World War II weakened the walls of his prison and the nun found, once again, freedom.
